Health and Disease, my latest thoughts

I think it's time for me to write a new report, as I think some fundamental aspects of what I believe with regards to health and disease have changed a lot the last few months.

Disclaimer: I state many things as facts below. Please note they are not facts, but I often forget to start sentences with ''I think'' or ''According to''. Use this article to do your own investigations. Don't just follow the guidelines in this article without any investigation or questioning. Also, be aware that I have no medical education whatsoever

My first conclusions, based on my own experiences and those of others, said that when a person was ill, it was probably because of his/her bad nutrient-deficient diet. I also thought that in 99% of the cases, adapting the diet to a better diet would cure most diseases.

I now know that these conclusions are generalizing too much. There is more to health and disease than meets the eye, so to say.

First, I will try to define the term health, which isn't as easy as it looks. Dr. Beddoe defines health in this way: ''The harmonious function of the body; controlled by reason and judgement which is under the direction of the power of God's spirit.''
He defines illness in this way: ''Refers to a loss of Reserve Energy; or, to put it another way, the first day more energy is not obtained from food eaten than is us used during the days activities. This is the first day Reserve Energy is being lost, so it is the first day that illness begins biochemically''
Reserve Energy: ''Refers to the amount of energy left. It is like a savings account. The lower the reserve, the weaker the liver, and the poorer the health''.

The liver is the key in this. In a healthy body, the liver is functioning perfectly and the reserve energy level is high. In a sick body, the liver is functioning poorly and the reserve energy level is low.

Disease starts the first day the body spends more energy than it can obtain from the foods eaten. But what is this energy ? Beddoe believes that this energy is mineral energy. So, in fact, what he says, is that minerals are like the cornerstone for health.

The absence of health is therefore always associated with a relative absence of minerals. Beddoe says: ''Cause and effect is what is dealt with. No attempt is made to label symptoms, for prescription purposes, because it is felt that all degeneration is a form and pattern of mineral energy loss - starting with calcium''.

What good is it to label a disease like Crohn's disease, diabetes mellitus, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc, when all degeneration is ''just'' a specific pattern of mineral energy loss. We should look at these mineral deficiencies and supplement the right minerals and make adaptations in diet and lifestyle, so we won't loose these minerals again.

Microbes are the result of disease
Bacteria, viruses, molds, fungi, etc are not the cause of disease: They are the result of disease. Let's look at a parallel: Suppose your house (your body) is not cleaned up, as the housekeeper (the liver) doesn't have enough energy to clean up all the mess.

This situation might not cause problems immediately, but on the other hand it does attract cockroaches and rats. Also when a cockroach accidentally ends up in the house, it will find all the bread crumps (the toxins in the body because the liver isn't working ok) and it will be the begin of big problems.
In a well-cleaned house (healthy body), you can even set free several cockroaches (viruses/bacteria), but after a short while they won't survive because there is just nothing to eat and they will try to find a better place to live and leave the house (body).

Do you start to get the picture ?
This is exactly what Pasteur finally admitted on his deathbed: ''The terrain is everything''. With the terrain he meant the human body or any other terrain/soil.

Let's consider a piece of wood. When it is all wet, it will allow mushrooms (fungi) to grow on it. When it is dry and healthy, it doesn't allow any fungus to grow on it, even when you would put the spores right there. The terrain determines which microbes will flourish. When the terrain is perfect and the housecleaning is done, no microbe will set foot.
Also, when the house is dirty, then spraying the cockroaches (bacteria) with pesticides (antibiotics) won't do any good. They will just keep coming and because of all the poison you're eventually poisoning yourself. (Think of the insanity of chemotherapy: killing the liver)

There are of course exceptions: When massive amounts of certain bacteria or viri are injected into a person, it will still overwhelm his defences. Even a body with a healthy liver and good immune system can't counteract such a massive attack. That's something that certain Indian tribes knew very well: Dip the sharp point of an arrows in decaying matter and your enemies will perish when you've hit them. Also, the teeth of several reptiles are crawling with bacteria. Any bite from this reptile will eventually kill the victim because of the direct contact of this high concentration of bacteria with the blood.
Please note that this is also one really big disadvantage of the vaccination: Life or dead bacteria with a large amount of toxins and heavy metals are injected right into the blood. My opinion is that you're asking for problems when you do this.

The soil
To determine how healthy a person is, we should thus look at the soil, i.e. the terrain of the human body. There are several things that need to be measured to determine the soil quality:
? The acidity or alkalinity of the body (urine pH)
? The acidity or alkalinity of the liver (saliva pH)
? The conductivity of the blood (conductivity of urine reflects this)
? The amount of cell debris in the blood (measured in the urine)
? The carbohydrate content of the blood (measured with a refractometer)
? The amount of nitrate nitrogen in the blood
? The amount of ammonia nitrogen in the blood

When these figures are compared to the optimal range of values, a quantitative measure of health can be deduced. These figures thus depicts how harmonious the body is functioning (i.e. health).

Let's turn back to the liver. The liver needs the following things the most:
? Oxygen
? Pure water
? Calciums of different organic types

The needs for oxygen and pure water don't need to explanation, the need for calciums probably does. There are many different types of organic calciums. The calcium in your tap water is of the inorganic type, i.e. it's only plain calcium elements. The body can use some of this, but not very much. It is very difficult to absorb or to utilize for the body. Animals and humans can only effectively use organic calciums. These are calciums that are bound to carbon-structures. Examples: Calciumcarbonate, calciumorotate, calciumlactate, calciumgluconate. The plants can transform inorganic calcium in the soil into organic calciums. When plants are eaten, these organic calciums are absorbed by animals and humans. Carnivores obviously get their organic calciums from the animals they prey upon.
The body needs all these calciums in the right balance to properly maintain the optimal pH (6.4, slightly acid) of the body.

Different Calciums
These different organic types of calcium have different properties. Some are of the anionic type (calciumcitrate, calciumcarbonate), others are of the cationic type (calciumlactate). Calciumcarbonate has a strong alkalising effect on the body, calciumcitrate has a more moderate alkalising effect. Calciumgluconate and calciumorotate have a neutral effect on the pH. These are important base calciums to properly buffer pH. Calciumlactate has a very strong acidifying effect on the acidity. This one should be used, sometimes along with vitamin C to lower the pH in the case the body is too alkaline.

Calcium is the mineral the body needs the most, both by weight and by volume. Dr. Beddoe states that the most toxic foods are the vegetables that are raised on calcium-deficient soil. When an animal or human eats this calcium-deficient food, it will need more calciums (mineral energy) to digest and properly metabolise the food, than it gets from the food. Eating calcium-deficient foods is what triggers the start of disease.

Dietary Guidelines
Now, let's consider the general dietary guidelines as laid out on this site. It says not to eat grains and legumes. That's ofcourse a perfect basic guideline as these foods contain in their unrefined form antinutrients that bind to calcium that hinder the absorption. In their refined form they contain virtually no minerals at all, while containing massive amounts of glucose (remember the digestive pathway: starch -> maltose -> glucose), which needs big amounts of minerals to be properly metabolised. Also, high blood sugars, another effect of a high-carbohydrate diet, cause the out flux of essential minerals, among which also calcium.
Refined sugars don't need any explanation. White potatoes also won't need any clarification. Vegetable oils are all refined and are very mineral and vitamin deficient, especially because they are excessively filtered and also heated, creating massive amounts of free radicals.

The Glue-Factor
Furthermore, soy, wheat and cow-milk have another property than indirectly affects the mineral energy in the body in a very negative way. Soy and wheat contain specific types of proteins which, when extracted are used as industrial glue. Imagine what this glue does to the intestinal tract, and specifically to the duodenum (the first part of the small intestines where all nutrients are absorbed). It damages the vili and furthermore coats the vili with glue. Absorption rate starts to decrease at an alarming rate when these three toxic foods are eaten. In fact many allergies can be traced back to a glue-coated duodenum.

Toxic Foods: Kerosene for you body
Dr. Carey Reams discovered the reason why the Bible forbids several foods, like pork. When these foods are eaten, the energy in the foods is given off way too fast. The body can't handle this huge amount of energy in such short time and something comparable with running your car on kerosene happens: The pistons and valves all burn. In the body this results in huge losses of mineral energy, i.e. it causes the body to dump large amounts of essential minerals, among which calcium.
When a person monitors his RBTI figures daily, he/she will see immediate negative effects on his/her health when these foods are eaten. This is the list:
Pork (and ofcourse all products containing pork), all skin fish (fish without scales) and shell fish (fish or crustacean animals that have neither fins or scales).
Pork, or any of its products: ham, bacon, sausage, chops, jowls, cracklings, chitterlings, or anything that contains pork fat or lard.
Tuna, Catfish, shrimp, lobster, frogs, turtle, snake, eel, lizard, etc.
Rabbit, squirrel, horse, mule, bear, duck or goose, and any processed meats containing any of these products.

And then there is the issue of protein consumption. There are two extremes: Eating too few or eating too many proteins. Both cause problems.
Eating too few proteins like many vegetarians do. First of all, this causes the body to starve, but the second reason is way more important. When too few proteins are eaten the nitrogen levels in the blood will start to drop. The body needs nitrogen to successfully absorb potassium. ''Next to calcium and phosphate, potassium is the chief mineral in the make-up of the brain's molecular structure. When potassium is lacking to the brain, there is a highly increased danger of forming brain tumors.'' ?. ''When calcium uptake is poor, an individual may complain of some of these physical symptoms: headache up the back of the neck or migraine headache, sudden drops in mental activity, depression of various forms, mood swings, seizures, onset of senility, etc. In addition, problems in thyroid function that affect weight gain problems may result.'' This is strongly related to anorexia, but also dementia.
There is also a second reason for the nitrogen level in the blood (urea's) to drop too low: Insufficient rest. So, let the Sunday be the Sunday it is supposed to be and don't work 24h/24h.

The second extreme is eating too many proteins. This is what many people on the Atkins diet do wrong. The basic premise of the Atkins diet is perfect, but there is no strong warning of eating too many proteins. When too many proteins are eaten, the body looses too many minerals. Also, when the the fat:protein ratio is too low, there will be a strong deficiency of vitamin A overtime. This can cause very big problems.
What exactly is the optimal amount of proteins one should eat. I think the Homo Optimus diet from Poland defines this quite well: Take your weight in kilograms and call that grams. So, if you weigh 80 kilograms, you should eat 80 grams of proteins per day.

Also be sure to eat enough natural saturated fats with the proteins. You need the vitamins in the fats to properly digest and metabolise the proteins.

Dr. Kwasniewski says that the protein digestion improves over time and then you would only need two thirds of that amount, so about 55 grams. As most meats and eggs are about 20% protein, that would mean you can multiply the grams of proteins you need by 5 to get the amount of meat and eggs you could eat. It's probably only times 3-4, because the other foods you eat also contain proteins (vegetables, nuts, etc).

But, why guess when you can know for sure by doing the RBTI test ? The urea's that are tested indicitate perfectly if a person is eating the right amount of proteins and wether or not these proteins are properly digested. Did you know the pancreas is the key organ related to protein digestion ? It produces the special protein-digesting enzymes which break down proteins into amino acids.

Carbohydrate restriction has been proven the best way to improve your heath. Even in the 19th century, the first low-carbohydrate book was written by Banting. In the late 20th century, it regained its fame because of the work of the late Dr. Atkins. In 2003, the Atkins diet is becoming very popular.
Both Banting and Dr. Atkins have very strong points and their diets are many times better than the standard American Diet (the silly pyramid with the grain-potatoes-corn-dairy-sugar foundation). A very strong point is that the foods served on a low-carbohydrate diet are much higher in minerals as most foods are natural unrefined foods. The average low-carber eats more fats and more vegetables. Some of the Atkins-followers alas eat too many proteins, but that has been covered in the previous paragraph.

The extreme fear of carbohydrates like in the Atkins diet, disallowing fruits, is based on the reaction of the mineral-deprived body to these foods. When a person has eaten the Standard American Diet and gets obese and overweight, he is per definition in a mineral-deficient state. We can safely conclude that the ''soil'' is quite bad in those persons' bodies. A bad soil quite easily hinders effective glucose metabolism.

For example: Insulin is only as effective as nature intended when the body pH is 6.4. Above 6.4, insulin's action is exaggerated. Below 6.4, insulin's action is way too weak. Furthermore, proper carbohydrate digestion and metabolism needs the proper minerals, which we already concluded were deficient.
Only obese and overweight persons are interested in diets and give the Atkins diet a try (when you're lean and mean, you probably aren't interested in another diet). It works perfectly, but most of them are seeminlgy never again able to eat any fruits.

My conclusion: A low carbohydrate diet is a perfect bandaid to mask deeper problems: A mineral deficiency.
By correcting the ''soil'' and making sure the soil pH gets near the optimal 6.4, and providing the liver with all the needed nutrients, the body will start to regenerate and over time fruits *can* be eaten without problems. Ofcourse, when the pancreas has been damaged beyond repair, it might never fully restore, but don't underestimate the regenerating powers of a fully functional liver, which produces its 6 billion enzymes.
The improved sugar regulation can be verified by checking the Brix-levels of the urine. These show the averaged blood sugar level for the last few hours. As you will see, when the soil is clean and the liver is working optimally again, the sugar regulation in the body is also optimal. Ofcourse, we should still watch out not to eat too many fruits, especially the ones that are ''genetically'' (through selection) adapted to be more sweet and (relatively) lower in mineral.
Also, you should stick to a high-mineral diet and stay away from the foods either grown on mineral-deficient soils and refined foods.

Candida and other stubborn yeasts
When this new theory is applied to candida, we can see clearly why so many herbal and medicinal anti-fungals have virtually no effect on the parasites in the long run. We should focus on rebuilding the soil with the right minerals and regenerating the liver, so it can clean up all the mess. Also, the candida yeast won't like the new terrain and will bail out. It doesn't like to grow, or isn't even able to grow on a healthy terrain.

A cancerous cell should be regarded as a rebellious cell. The body can't supply the cell the right nutrients, most important the oxygen and the related nutrients to fulfil the aerobic needs of the cell. As a result, the cell transforms into a cancerous cell, comparable with a prokaryotic cell and its metabolism is anaerobic (no oxygen is used).
Imagine what happens when the right calciums aren't available. When the pH starts to drift away from the optimal 6.4, the oxygen-carrying ability of the blood is decreased. Also, there is a strong relation between bloodsugar content and the blood's ability to transport oxygen. Iron and vitamin A absorption are severely hindered by wrong pH's. Furthermore, high salt levels of the blood, cause agglutination and cause red blood cells to stick together.
I believe that restoring the soil to its optimum and restoring the liver, will get rid of most, if not all, cancers.
Persons suffering from cancers, per definition, have a very poor soil and a very poorly functioning liver. So, we can expect that glucose regulation and protein digestion are functioning very poorly. By using the RBTI, we can easily see how well a person digests proteins, which type of proteins he could eat and how well these should be pre-digested. To conclude that a person with cancer should stop eating proteins, is a bad conclusion. We should aim to rebuild the body's ability to digest proteins. Then the person should eat the optimal amount of proteins, not too much, but also, not too few.
The same for the carbohydrates. If the sugar regulation is very bad and when a person eats some fruits, the Brix levels indicate very high blood sugars, the person should at that time not eat fruits, as the glucose is feeding the anaerobic cancer cells. Only after the sugar regulation is restored to its full power, then fruits can be used, as long as the Brix levels remain near the optimal level of 1.5.

Some further notes on water. One of my uncles was suffering from bad pains in his left arms, back and legs. When I tested his RBTI figures, it showed that his blood conductivity was way too high. He was in the fatal heart attack zone. After only two days of drinking the right amounts of low-mineral water, his pains almost completely disappeared.
Another uncle was also suffering from bad pains in his shoulder and some other places. I tested him and the results revealed the same: Very high blood conductivity. He had already a received a prednison injection a week ago. I dare to bet that his pains were caused by him drinking insufficient low-mineral water.
If everyone was drinking enough high quality water (and no, tap-water isn't), the pharmaceuticals would lose an amazing amount of income at once.

How much water to drink:
Take your weight in pounds, divided by two and call that ounces. That's how much low-mineral water you should drink. Drink only in small portions at a time as the liver can handle only 4-5 oz. per half hour.
In Europe there is one brand of very low-mineral water: Spa Mineral water. It only has 30mg dry residue per liter water. Compare that to other ''healthy'' mineralwaters with hundreds of mg of dry residue per liter and also to tap water.
For the body to get rid of his excess salts, you should drink low-mineral water. High inorganic mineral water is already full of unusable minerals that need to be excreted. Often, these minerals even stick inside the body, causing stiff artheries.

Distilled water
The best water according to Reams is distilled water. It contains the highest amount of energy when compared to all other waters. Several person in the RBTI discussion group have been drinking distilled water for over 20 years and are in perfect health. A six year old child has been drinking distilled water all her life and is in brilliant health.
No single study showing a negative effect of drinking distilled water can be found. On the other hand, the negative aspects of high mineral water are easily found in several studies.

The progress, when following the RBTI protocol, is much higher when distilled water is used, even when compared to reverse osmosis water.

Macular degeneration: Reverse osmosis due to high blood conductivity
Macular degeneration and many other diseases of the eye are caused by high conductivity of the blood. This causes reverse osmosis, increasing the pressure of the eyeball and causing mayham for the eye.
Start drinking the amount of water you should drink (your weight in pounds divided by two and call that ounces) and also drink in small portions of 4-5 oz. per half hour maximum. Otherwise the liver can't handle the water.

People with several allergies have a very bad ''soil'', their body is so overwhelmed with toxins all the time, that even the smallest amount extra is not handled properly. The body can't get rid of the excess toxins and tries to dump it through the skin, creating classic allergy symptoms.
Also, when the liver isn't fed the right stuff (oxygen, water, calciums, etc) in the right amounts, it won't be able to produce all 6 billion enzymes that are neccessary for a proper detoxification pathway of many substances.
When a person has allergies, you can conclude that person is very toxic and the liver is working very poorly. I think this applies to every allergy, even hay fever and asthma.
Often these allergies subside very quickly after some really bad foods are deleted from the diet, especially grains, soy, corn and cow milk are real allergy-causing foods. In fact, any food that deprives the body of the needed minerals, either directly (refined, low-mineral foods) or indirectly (through anti-nutrients or the coating of the intestines).

Like many other sites say on the internet (among which ), SARS is probably a big media hype and not the killer-virus it is suggested to be. Only old people (which on a species-inappropriate diet have a very poor immune system and very poor soil and liver quality) and ill people seem to die from SARS. When you make sure the soil is in perfect order, SARS will probably be no problem at all, unless ofcourse the virus is directly injected into the blood in large quantities (see the exception above with the indians and the alligators).
Some say that SARS is nothing more than a big media hype to cause fear among people, ''forcing'' them to take vaccinations, which are *big* money-makers for the pharmaceutical industry.. Both in the short run (millions and millions of vaccinations) and in the long run (the vaccinations contain heavy metals and toxins, worsening the soil even further)..
